According to the guidance, by 2022, Chongqing’s annual output of automobiles is expected to reach about 3.2 million, accounting for 10% of the national annual output of automobiles, with an output value of about 650 billion yuan and a significant increase in the value of bicycles. Among them, the annual output of new energy vehicles is about 400,000 and intelligent networked vehicles is about 1.2 million, making it an important R&D and manufacturing base of new energy and intelligent networked vehicles in China.
