Performance control is comprehensively ahead of its peers, and five driving modes meet personalized choices

In order to demonstrate the performance of the full scene and road conditions of LANTU FREE, this test drive is equipped with elk testing, 100-kilometer linear acceleration, 100-kilometer linear braking, piling, fixed circle winding, 8-character winding, sleeper road, bumpy road, folding line, S-shaped road and other site experience subjects. The number and complexity of the projects are beyond the same level.

Both the Lantu FREE pure electric version and the extended range electric version are equipped with high-power dual motors and intelligent four-wheel drive solutions. The maximum power of the dual motors is 510kW and the peak torque is 1040N · m, which is comparable to luxury supercars. As a medium and large SUV weighing nearly 2.3 tons, the Lantu FREE has a 4-second zero-hundred acceleration performance, and the top speed can reach 200km/h. In addition to the acceleration performance, the braking performance is also fast and stable. The Lantu FREE adopts the industry’s leading Bosch iBooster 2.0 braking system and ESP 9.3Hev body stabilization system, resulting in shorter braking distance, faster response speed and more stable body. In the dynamic braking test, the Lantu FREE exhibited sufficient braking force, with a braking distance of only 35.9 meters per 100 kilometers, leading the same class of medium and large luxury SUVs.

In order to bring the driver the control pleasure of an electric vehicle, the Lantu FREE also adopts the front double fork arms and rear multi-link independent suspension, which has been adjusted by the luxury chassis, and the control stability, support and comfort exceed that of the luxury SUV of the same class. In comprehensive tests such as pile winding and round corners, the steering of the Lantu FREE is light and accurate, and the driver can clearly feel the excellent body tracking when passing through corners. In addition, the Lantu FREE is equipped with Pirelli P-ZERO high-performance tires as standard, which have strong grip, so that the vehicle’s body roll can be significantly suppressed when cornering at high speed.

In this test drive, the Lantu FREE demonstrated the luxury chassis tuning skills through the open Elk test subject experience. The vehicle suspension support is in place, and the 75 km/h Elk test results also reflect the excellent performance of the Lantu FREE in driving control. The Lantu FREE is equipped with an active adjustable air suspension with an adjustable height of 100mm up and down, which can adaptively adjust the chassis height to adapt to different road conditions. When the Lantu FREE is driving on rough road conditions, the air suspension adjusts the ground clearance of the body to bring better road passage. During the actual measurement of the bumpy road section, the air suspension allows the Lantu FREE body to have no excess vibration during driving, and the control is both sporty and comfortable.

In addition, Landmap FREE has five driving modes of high energy, comfort, economy, outing and customization. In the face of different road conditions or car scenarios, Landmap FREE can realize one-click switching of different driving control fun. In high energy mode, the integrated triple screen automatically drops to bring a larger field of view, the car system and ambient lights become sports red, the sports fragrance system permeates the entire car, and the air suspension is automatically lowered by 30mm for better control; in custom driving mode, the driver can freely adjust the intensity through steering force, braking control, drive control and energy recovery to meet the different experiences and needs of the driver.

Thanks to the 1.5T four-cylinder intelligent power generation system with user experience as the core, LANTU FREE can make extended range intervention judgments according to the vehicle power SOC and vehicle speed. Compared with other extended range models, the power does not decrease significantly even in the feeding state, and there is no driving frustration. In the energy-saving mode, the redundant battery power of LANTU FREE extended range version can provide a higher power output for the vehicle, and with the 1.5T four-cylinder intelligent and efficient power generation system, the vehicle can still achieve excellent power performance.

In order to create a quiet driving environment, LANTU FREE creates excellent NVH performance from three dimensions of structure, sound source, and absorption. It is equipped with high-quality multi-layer sound insulation glass, Pirelli low-noise tires, and adopts a low wind noise design of 0.28 wind resistance.
