The water tightness, wind pressure resistance and thermal insulation performance of building external doors and windows do not meet the standards and express quality requirements, and the products are prone to water leakage in the form, water seepage in the wall or insulation layer, and the thermal insulation effect cannot meet the design requirements.

The broken state of tempered glass does not meet the standard requirements, and the sharp fragments produced during breaking are easy to cause harm to human body; The heat resistance and radiation resistance of laminated glass do not meet the standard requirements, and the products are prone to bubble and degumming, which reduces the service life; The dew point of insulating glass does not meet the standard requirements. During use, dew or frost will form on the inner surface of the glass, which will affect the appearance and permeability of the glass and lead to the reduction of heat insulation and sound insulation performance.

For the producers of unqualified products found in spot checks, Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Administration has handed them over to the market supervision department where the business entity is located for handling according to law. Beijing Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision advises consumers to pay attention to the mandatory product certification when purchasing tempered glass, laminated glass and safety insulating glass (CCC) information, pay attention to the appearance of the product whether there are problems such as edge explosion, scratches, bubbles, degumming, uneven sealant, insufficient adhesion to glass, etc.
