Women’s physiological characteristics have been changing? Have you mastered the physiological characteristics of each stage?
Women are divided into several stages according to their physiological characteristics, from the fetal period to the neonatal period, and then into childhood and adolescence. With the decline of ovarian function, women gradually enter menopause and old age. At different stages, the physiological characteristics of women are constantly changing again.
1. Fetal period
Sperm and egg combine to form a fertilized egg, which is implanted in the uterine cavity and then gradually develops into a fetus. There are 23 pairs of chromosomes in the body, one of which is decisive for development.
2. Neonatal period
Because the fetus is influenced by the mother’s hormones in the uterus, the breast, ovary, uterus and vulva have developed initially. After the baby is born, the hormone level in the blood will drop rapidly, and it is easy to have a small amount of vaginal bleeding. Don’t worry too much, it will usually subside in a few days.
3. Childhood
Girls grow faster in childhood, but the reproductive organs develop slowly. Before the age of 8, the function of hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary axis was inhibited, the reproductive organs were not developed, and the vaginal epithelium was weak and wrinkle-free, which could not resist pathogenic bacteria and was prone to inflammation in children.
4. Adolescence
Girls enter puberty from the age of 10 to 19, and their reproductive organs develop rapidly, and their sexual functions are gradually improved. They begin to have menarche and their breasts develop accordingly. In adolescence, all parts of the body develop rapidly, and the secondary sexual characteristics gradually emerge.
5. Sexual maturity
Sexual maturity, that is, ovarian functional maturity, results in periodic secretion and ovulation of sex hormones. Usually from the age of 18 or so, after 30 years, this period is a period of vigorous fertility. Due to the influence of sex hormones, breast and reproductive organs also undergo periodic changes.
6, menopausal transition period
Generally, women begin to enter the menopause transition period from about 40 years old, which generally lasts for 1~10 years. During this period, ovarian function gradually declines, follicles cannot mature and eggs cannot be excluded, so menstruation becomes irregular. When it develops to a certain extent, the follicles in the ovary can be gradually exhausted, which will lead to the decline of ovarian function and eventually enter menopause. Because the estrogen level fluctuates greatly or suddenly decreases, it is easy to cause mental symptoms, leading to night sweats, poor sleep quality, irritability and hot flashes, which is called menopausal syndrome.
7. Old age
When a woman enters old age, the follicle stops, and the ovary can no longer secrete estrogen, but the ovarian stroma can secrete some androgen. Under the action of peripheral tissues, estrogen can be transformed into circulating estrogen. After women reach the age of 60, the ovarian function has completely lost, not only the body is aging and changing, but also the reproductive organs are slowly shrinking and aging. The main symptom is that the estrogen level is low and it can’t resist pathogenic bacteria, which leads to senile vaginitis. Abnormal bone metabolism also easily leads to osteoporosis, which in turn leads to fractures.
Tips
Girls should do a good job in nursing at any time, pay attention to personal hygiene at ordinary times, change their underwear once a day, avoid sharing the same room during menstruation, and change sanitary napkins at least once every two hours. In addition, lead an honest and clean life, master the correct contraceptive methods, and do not take emergency contraceptives indiscriminately, so as to avoid disrupting endocrine and hormone levels, and even make women enter menopause or lead to amenorrhea in advance. Adjust the diet, supplement nutrition reasonably, and do not lose weight by excessive dieting, so as not to affect the development of reproductive organs.
