It is reported that the expected price of the ideal MEGA Max is less than 600,000 yuan (presumably Max is the top model, and the ideal model is generally divided into Air, Pro and Max versions), and the official price will be announced at the press conference in December 2023. In January, 2024, the ideal MEGA show car and test drive car will arrive at the retail center in LI, a city. MEGA delivery will start in late February.

Looking at the new car, the overall design of the ideal MEGA is based on simplicity and functionality, and the purpose is to reduce wind resistance! The front of the car retains the family’s iconic flawless star ring lamp design and is integrated with the front surface. The dark U-shaped functional area is also a family-style design style in LI, which retains some family characteristics.
When we come to the side, we can see that the roof line of the new car is gradually downward from the highest point, and the shape of the side is similar to that of the stern, and gradually narrows inward. With the design that the integrated D-pillar is connected with the roof, the airflow at the rear can be combed and the balance of the wake vortex can be improved. Finally, the drag coefficient of the ideal MEGA is reduced to 0.215Cd, which has reached the level of Taycan and other cars.
At the rear of the car, in addition to another star ring light echoing the front of the car, the ideal MEGA also adopts a two-color rear design to make the rear shape more flexible. The body dimensions are 5350/1965/1850mm in length, width and height, respectively, and the wheelbase is 3300 mm.
Come to the car, refrigerator, color TV, big sofa will not be absent. First of all, the front row is still the ideal family-style design style that we are familiar with, and it will be equipped with HUD head-up display, OLED central control screen, and passenger entertainment screen. In terms of assisted driving, Pro version is equipped with Horizon Journey 5, NOA covers high-speed sections, and Max is equipped with double NVIDIA Orin-X to realize urban NOA.
Combined with the previous application information, the new car still adopts three rows and seven seats, and adopts the traditional MPV layout mode of 2+2+3. However, due to the long length of the car, a considerable space is reserved in the trunk. Under normal circumstances, the longitudinal length of the trunk is 680 mm.. The third row of seats is more interesting. Not only can the backrest be folded forward to expand the space, but it can also be turned forward completely to form a longer storage space. After the three rows of seats are folded and turned over, the depth of the luggage compartment reaches 1066 mm.
In terms of safety, in the internal standard 25% small-scale overlapping frontal collision test, the ideal MEGA has achieved excellent evaluation on both the main driver’s seat and the auxiliary driver’s seat, which is rare in the market segment of medium and large MPV. In terms of the rear-end collision safety that everyone is worried about, the ideal MEGA uses a rear-end collision test with a speed of 88km/h to evaluate its performance. The new car has designed an energy-absorbing space with a length of 800mm at the rear, which provides enough rear-end collision buffer space for the third row of passengers to improve safety.
In terms of power, the new car will be built on an 800V platform. The peak power of the motor is 400kW, the peak torque is 542 Nm, and the acceleration of 0-100km/h is only 5.5 seconds. The ideal MEGA is equipped with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited 5C Kirin battery, its energy density reaches 170Wh/kg, and it is equipped with the level of charging for 12 minutes to replenish 500km. At the same time, with the efforts to greatly optimize the wind resistance coefficient, the energy consumption of the ideal MEGA is 15.9kWh/100km. In contrast, the energy consumption of Krypton 009 is 18.3kWh/100km, and the potential D9 is 18.4kWh/100km.
In terms of energy supplement, 119 ideal 5C overcharging stations have been put into operation, adopting 1+3 layout, that is, one overcharging station is equipped with one 5C pile and three 2C piles; 2+2 or other configurations will be upgraded in the future. The ideal plan is to build more than 300 super charging stations by 2023, and the number of super charging stations will exceed 3000 in 2025.
